On Thursday, the S&P 500 closed at 4,293.93, up 20.0% from its October 12 bear market closing low of 3,577.03.
It’s the first time the index closed at least 20% above its closing low of this cycle, confirming the market has been in a bull market since October, which is when we can now say the bear market officially ended.
