Chicago Business Barometer falls to 45.2 in October
The Chicago Business Barometer index fell to 45.2 in October, down from 45.7 in September. This is the second consecutive print below 50, and any reading below 50 signals contraction in business activity.
The October survey also surveyed businesses regarding their inventories.
