Believe it or not, there was a world before spreadsheets. People used to crunch numbers and organize them — by hand — on paper worksheets.
It was tedious work. But it was lots of hours of paid work for many people.
Then came the advent of computerized spreadsheets, perhaps most famously in the form of Microsoft Excel. Hours and days worth of work was reduced to seconds and minutes.
