The data continues to suggest we're not barreling toward a recession π€·π»ββοΈ
U.S. GDP grew at a 1.1% rate during the first three months of this year, according to fresh data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
There are a lot of details behind that figure, including the fact that personal consumption accelerated to a 3.7% rate during the period.
But the bottom line is that while the economy may be cooling, itβs pretty clearly not in recession.
