I recall being much more excited when the S&P 500 would cross a 100-point milestone.
Thatβs probably because earlier in my career, these milestones represented much larger percentage gains. For example, when the S&P climbed from 2,000 in Aug. 2014 to 2,100 in Feb. 2015, it represented an impressive 5% gain.
But in 2024, it took only early to late Februaryβ¦
