President Trump is nominating Kevin Warsh to be the next chair of the Federal Reserve.

This process is just beginning. Warsh, who served as a Fed governor from 2006 to 2011, will have to undergo Senate confirmation before he can take the helm. This isn’t exactly a clear path.

There is already a lot written about Warsh’s experience, views, and potential conflicts of interest. He has as many critics as he does fans. Both sides make good points.

Off the bat, I’ll share three thoughts.
