I’m not crazy about one-year price targets for the S&P 500.
It is extremely challenging to predict short-term market movements with accuracy. This is reflected in the fact that forecasters frequently revise their targets as the year unfolds.
That said, these targets tell us something about Wall Street sentiment. And the research supporting these forecasts can be very interesting.
